Angela Campagna, Licensed Clinical Social Worker founded Face2Face Therapy in 2018 to help and support people with their individual needs. Navigating through life can be complicated and often leave us with undesirable feelings. However, she can work with you to achieve your goals. Angela wants the therapeutic process to feel helpful and for you to feel supported by your relationship with her. This supportive relationship will be nonjudgmental, compassionate and she will always be open to listening to your thoughts and feelings. She can provide you a nurturing space so you can speak freely and share your concerns, with confidentiality.
Angela is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Advanced Nutritional and Integrative Medicine; Culinary Medicine to Improve Mood, Sleep, Attention and Focus; Integrating Mindfulness; Psychotherapy; Treating Anxiety Disorders; Shame Shields; Suicide Bereavement Clinical Training; Suicide Intervention; and Core Competencies of Trauma, PTSD, Grief & Loss.
Her focus is to support you through a process that will facilitate healing, and help you become aware of your inner strengths. She can achieve this by using evidence-based therapy practices and teaching you skills that will be tailored to fit your goals. She has advanced practice and experience in teaching people how to better manage their emotions and facilitate problem-solving. She believes everyone can excel when given the tools and support they need.
The presentation starts with Angela Campagna, LCSW talking about how trauma and vicarious trauma effects the body and what you can do to self-regulate and maintain your mental and physical health to prevent burnout. The presentation then will have Lori Dather, RDN, LD our new nutrition counselor, discuss how nutrition has an impact on your mental health. She will include specific nutrients that will help improve your mental health and she will help you learn more about how to get and maintain a healthy gut.
